Purpose of the service

Macoloc is provided to help organize day-to-day life in a flat share. The service supports Google or Apple sign-in, creating or joining a home, task management, reminders, reports, and a simple way to follow shared responsibilities.

Account and access

• Each user is responsible for the information associated with their Google or Apple account.
• Access to some actions depends on a person’s role in the flat share, such as admin, member, or read-only owner.
• You must use the app honestly and without bypassing the service’s access rules.

Prohibited content and behavior

• Posting illegal, violent, hateful, defamatory, or privacy-invasive content.
• Posting sexually explicit content, nudity, or threats.
• Submitting photo proof or reports in an abusive, deceptive, or harassing way.
• Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities, access data without authorization, or disrupt the service.

Checks before publication

New comments, report descriptions, photos, and videos undergo an automatic check before publication. Content that is rejected is not published. If the check is unavailable or the submission limit is reached, you can try again later.

These tools can make mistakes and do not replace reporting, blocking, or support options. The video check analyzes images for sexually explicit content; it does not check audio.

Reporting and blocking

Stories and comments posted by another person include safety options. A report immediately hides the content for the person reporting it and may hide it for everyone after multiple distinct reports. Blocking hides content in both directions and can be undone from the profile.

Macoloc may remove content, restrict an account, or request more information when abusive use is confirmed.

Service availability

Macoloc is provided on a best-effort basis. Interruptions, fixes, limitations, or service changes may occur, including during the pilot phase and product iterations.
